I simply don't know if this is the Wrath of God.
You really think a disease that strikes people through doorknobs could be God's wrath? Sorry, I don't. Period. And I'm going to find humor in anyone who does, just like I'm going to find humor in that fat, bloated Falwell claiming Katrina was God trying to send a message to America. No, it wasn't, it was a storm. Lot's wife was struck down for direct defiance of God, just like the cities. She didn't contract a disease, which is all this is in the end. A disease.

I said I don’t know, and you don’t know. But you left out the children starving to death in Africa - What did they do?
It would benefit you to understand there are no guarantees in this world. If you have one I would like to see it.
The guarantees are in Heaven, everlasting life in the Kingdom of God (unless you are too busy laughing to make it).

Biblically, all “bad things” (storms, disease, etc) are the result of the collective sin of mankind. There are no innocents. We all pay the price one way or another. Even the creation pays the price for our sins. Says so in Romans.
