According to a report prepared by Edison Media Research for AP and published in Startribune the initial Michigan primary exit poll results favor Republicans and the Democrats seem to be minority. We project the winner of the Michigan primary exit poll results to be the Republican candidate Mitt Romney.
People are saying that economy is one of the most important issues for the voters in Michigan and those who go to the polls. Michigan's economy has been hit very heart as the unemployment is above 7 percent in the state.
More precise results of the Michigan Primary will come out this evening.
"Preliminary results from exit poll by Edison Media Research and Mitofsky International for The Associated Press and television networks. Partial samples in 40 precincts around Michigan of 873 voters in the Republican primary and 588 in the Democratic contest. Sampling error plus or minus 5 percentage points in each primary."

I find it hilarious that so many McCainiac kool-aid drinkers try to justify his selling us out to Aztlan and try to somehow project those failings into Romney “what-ifs”
Is the flavor still strawberry?

Romney could beat Hillary. He could beat her in a debate because he’s smarter and has more charm. He’s also a nice guy with a pleasant, optimistic personality. The stench of cynicism, corruption, and calculating nastiness around Hillary Clinton will turn Americans off. Romney in comparison is a boy scout with a picture postcard family and apparently no skeletons ready to fall out of the closet. Plus, he has executive experience, has had great success in turning around failing organization, and has a M.B.A. Hillary has none of this. Romney would win in a cakewalk.

Well the question is , who could you stand the least? Neither. If, God forbid, mclame would prevail, I'd have to pray and think long and hard. I couldn't make that decision until November.

ROMNEY 38%
MCCAIN 31%
HUCKABEE 16%
from Drudge... but it's still early

I don't think so. Romney hasn't even begun to compaign against Obama or Hillary head to head. Not one debate. Not one TV ad.
We've seen how things change overnight. We've seen how Huck came out of nowhere after one or two good debates. McCain was finished and his numbers turned around due to world events.
There is no way to predict how well Mitt will do against the dems, but his performance to date indicates he will do well in a head-to-head match up.
We also know that he is the only one without baggage and the only one with executive leadership experience. He will be able to differentiate himself from the career politicians who've never run anything in their lives better than anyone else.
