As I’ve mentioned on other posts, my father was a WWII POW. The Japenese beat him and all of the POW’s mercilessly, and he had the scars to prove it. He would never talk to me about it and I wish he were here today so I could. I digress. McNuts is using his POW status as a political crutch, which I don’t appreciate. Anyone who would even consider being sKerry’s VP does not have my respect nor support. Not to mention McNuts/Feingold, Gang of 14, Shamnesty, etc.
In the recent issue of NR one letter writer wrote that Romney’s head blocked the “iew” of “review” thereby the magazine cover says “National Rev”.
Romney....LOL. You mean Mitt Kerry....
Bingo!
Rudy would want to run for re-election, so he'd be likely to hold to the promises he made to social conservatives (constructionist judges, 2nd amendment, etc.).
OTH, I don't think McCain would run again. He would do exactly what he wanted to do...and relish poking his finger in our eye. Payback for 2000. Lib judges on the court for the rest of our lives...ugh!
Gimme Rudy any day over McCain.
Correction:
Hunter>>>gap>>>Fred>Romney >> (gap to unacceptable) >> Rudy > McCain > Huckabee
That’s just sad.
Actually, we are a Republic. That's why you really weren't voting for Fred. You were voting to assign a representative to vote for Fred.
But, in Michigan, if a candidate doesn't draw at least 15% statewide, he gets no delegates. You makes yer vote, you takes yer chances.

This explains, because of the early primary, the DNC is denying dem delegates...so the dems withdrew their names from the ballot...all except Hillary, so basically she’s running unopposed.
That was my read listening to Brit's panel as well as some vibes I got from Chris Matthews earlier. I hope it's not merely wishful thinking on my part.
Gravel and Kucinich were both on the ballot.
The DNC punished Michigan for moving their primary up. Their delegates won't be seated. Hillary is on the ballot, though. Any bets they'll 'change their minds' if hillary needs the votes?
You are right. Who cares what he said. You did the right thing....for you.
Thanks, didn’t know that. The article said the Dems removed their names, but there was a campaign for write ins so Hillary would appear to win in a landslide.
Interesting, too, that Huckabee appears to be down around 15%. I had the imression he was expecting better than that out of Michigan. He sure spent a lot of time there.
'Cos he's a political naif. He fell for the Clinton Machine ploy that deprived him of Detroit's vote. See, when MI moved up their date, the Dem Party (tm) stripped them of their candidates. To show their solidarity with the Party, Edwards and Obama removed their name from contention. Suckers.
Hugh Hewitt is sounding quite positive right now. As a Mitt supporter (who also likes Fred and Rudy) I hope Mitt wins and McCain is history.
I still say a Mitt/Fred ticket is the way to win this election.
I can understand your loyalty to Fred but your vote here was not going to help Fred you should have voted for Mitt to block the Huck and McCain.
You would have help Fred in SC because McCain would loose steam in Nevada on down to SC.
You don’t have to be for Mitt to inorder to help Fred!
strategy
Yes I am for Mitt but if the situation was reverse I would have choosen this strategy if voting for Fred in this case helped my man in the long run.
I know he won’t, but after the way he has been treated, Duncan Hunter ought to run as an independent too.
You could also vote uncommitted, but there were no write in’s.
Helping our man? What about helping our country? McCain is so wrong.
