The Da Vinci Code offered a silly fantasy in which Opus Dei, homicidal monks and twisted billionaires chased after proof that Christianity is a hoax. - while I think that Da Vinci Code was only entertainment, this was not the premise of the book.

I agree that it was very entertaining- kept me on the edge of my seat. I was confused about the “proof that Christianity was a hoax.” Wasn’t it the opposite, or did I drink too much pinot grigio during that part?
