Isn't there a law in San Francisco that prohibits discrimination based sexual orientation? This disease is illegal!

It won’t be long before it gets civil rights protections like “other” diseases afflicting the same demographic.

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

We have had a small but alarming number of cases of MRSA in our local school system, even a couple at the schools my children attend.
To: tortdog
This disease also afflicts high school and college athletes, cheerleaders, children in daycare, EMTs, firefighters and police officers. Unlike AIDS it
can be spread by casual contact.
This is not a gay disease, it's a human disease. Wash your hands, people.

Yeah, and it won't be long until "the population infected" with this bug begins to spread it into "the general population" by casual contact at the fitness club, etc.
Way to go, boys.

So gays are 13x more likely to not wash their hands?

Yup...My transmission vector was the Gym. And the Health Club invovled threatened to sue anyone that actualy brought that up to the news whores. NO matter that at just one club, in one week( The week I was infected) they had 17 people infected with the crap. No information on how many other folks were infected. They squashed the information.

Oh, don’t be silly. Obviously a disease that can be spread by casual contact (or even indirect contact, as via weight training equipment: my son’s school shut down gym classes when there were a few cases of MRSA among student athletes) will spread with even higher probability with intimate contact.

Sorry Lava wont work on this one.... "In regards to San Francisco, the study found sexually active gay men are 13 times more likely to be infected than the general population."

Actually, yes. If one of a married couple has MRSA, having sex before the infection is cleared up (and, yes, there are antibiotics that deal with it, at least with the strain that got loose in our local high school), is a lousy idea.

You speak the truth. WE just about had to forego intimate contact until they found a anti-biotic that would control it. Plus we had to worry about the kids...and office mates. It’s an ugly situation to be quiote frank...and just centring this on “GAy” populations is not going to be good.

My sympathies. I guess you don't patronize that gym any more.... Seriously, though, why aren't you suing them?

Well, I thought about suing. But after discussions with the bloodsucking type lawyer, he couldn't actually “Prove” the infection was 100% contracted from the gym. Although, the probability of infection was centered on the gym, the gym could argue the infection could have come from anywhere. Thus I was S.O.L.
As far as patronizing the gym, We are more or less bound to go the the place due to a reduction in insurance payments. The company I work for has a preferred rate if you go to the gym 8 times in a month. The only gym in that program is this large chain of gyms in the area. So I could go to another gym, but I would have to pay another 75 bucks a month in premiums.
Nice eh?

Natural Selection is at work here weeding out the weak.
Of course as far as the gene pool goes, they were dead-enders anyway.

Don’t publish this information in Canada or England.
Making any negative statement about the gay lifestyle is ruled to be hate speech in both countries and you will be sanctioned for it.
