Fred Thompson's South Carolina TV ad!

I don’t know. It may be time to Abolish this poster. Enough for Godsake is enough.
The two aren't mutually exclusive.
You are either a damned liar, or a damned moron, which is it?
The two aren’t mutually exclusive.
I was being charitable.
Right. And I oppose that position on Abortion - I want a human life amendment - and at least someone who supports it. Romney does, Fred does not.
I suppose that would have put you and Fred on the other side of Lincoln during the Civil War when we amended the constution then. That's ok - I realize you really agree with me, you're just in the tank for 1% Fred.
Senate Centrist Coalition. Look it up sometime.
Fred opposes any attempt to legally restrict abortions apart from some votes against PBA, both on the federal and on the state level. Particularly for 'young girls', as he told Sean Hannity.
No, I hadn’t. Thanks!
“He is correctly focused on appointing justices who will do what is very possible: overturn Roe v. Wade. Then the states will be free to quickly take care of business on their own.”
In spite of my favorite candidate’s viewpoint, I’m more with Thompson on this one. I think adding Amendments is the wrong way to go about much of this stuff - and near impossible to achieve.
Here’s a few fun ones:
1893: Renaming this nation the United States of the Earth.
1933: Limit personal wealth to $1 million dollars
1971: American citizens should have the alienable right to an environment free of pollution.
Fred’s position makes no sense.
Ran out of his meds. (shrug)
Funny, almost every single right to life organization seems to disagree with you, both on Thommpson and Romney.
Here is why. From their press release. Since announcing his candidacy in September, Fred Thompson has run second only to pro-abortion candidate Rudy Giuliani for the Republican nomination in the overwhelming majority of national polls. As pro-lifers throughout the nation begin to unite behind his candidacy, he will be well positioned to win the nomination and the presidency.
The answer is because they picked wrong, like most people on FR, and didn't recognize that 1% Fred doesn't take them as seriously as he takes them. Who, oh, who, will they be supporting after next Tuesday when he comes in fourth - or fifth - in SC and gets out of the race.
And when he does and NRLC gets behind Romney, what are you going to do then? Where is your God now?
Also, why didn't you put 'thoroughly brain-damaged' among the choices? ;^)
LOL! Someone needs to write a Moonbat history book.
If thats all thats wrong with Fred, wow! far better than any of the other contenders, this is fluff,I am amazed that we are in such a condition that we are being manipulated and BS’ed again
by liberals and liars to get the voting done before we go to far in the process. When it gets closer to nominating time, the real candidates will emerge stronger than ever and Huckababy will go back to ark, where he belongs
Actually, I decided on Fred mainly by default after eliminating Giuliani, Romney, McCain, and the Huckster as conservatives. I take it you're for one of those untrustworthy liberals? Well, I trust Fred - - he doesn't shamelessly pander or flip-flop like those other clowns and I believe he means what he says. I surely don't feel that way about those other guys.
Cool, if you're for Duncan Hunter.... Otherwise, don't pester me with those other frauds.
Thanks.
We'll see what happens in SC. He will likely do much better than you think he will. If he doesn't, the NRLC might endorse Romney, but only because Rudy is obviously pro-choice, and Huck and Queeg are complete lunatics. They will be holding their nose as they make the endorsment just as many will hold their nose to vote for Romney in the general.
“Also, why didn’t you put ‘thoroughly brain-damaged’ among the choices? ;^)”
Didn’t want to confuse it.
Yes, that process required a Civil War in which about 2% of the entire male population were killed. The equivalent today would be about 3 million deaths. If this is your preference, I would prefer something else.
That makes it hard to explain how he maintained a 100% pro-life voting record in two terms in the Senate!
Oh, and just for fun, lets review Mitt’s record:
