Ex-Butler: Diana's Mom Called Her 'Whore' for Dating Muslim Men
LONDON — Princess Diana's former butler testified Monday that the princess' mother had called her a "whore" and criticized her for her associations with Muslim men.
At a coroner's inquest into Diana's death, Paul Burrell testified that Diana's mother, the late Frances Shand-Kydd, had destroyed much of Diana's private papers. Shand-Kydd had said she destroyed about 100 documents, but Burrell said he carried away half a dozen trash bags filled with shredded paper.
He said he didn't dare challenge the mother. "Mrs. Shand-Kydd was quite formidable ... and she did what she thought best."
Burrell said Diana had invited him to listen to a telephone conversation with her mother, who upbraided her daughter in June 1997 for romances with Muslims. That was before her romance with Fayed.
Burrell said he heard the mother say that Diana was "a whore and that she was (expletive deleted) around with Muslim men."
"She said some very nasty things," Burrell said.
Burrell also said there might be a secret about the late princess in a journal he kept but was unwilling to disclose. He later said there was no journal, he never kept one.
He was also reluctant to say which member of the royal family told Diana she should beware of surveillance, but he did write the name and passed the note to the coroner, Lord Justice Scott Baker. Baker looked at it, and said it had no relevance to the proceeding.
In an increasingly surreal day, Baker said the surveillance warning did not come from Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip or Sarah, Duchess of York. Burrell's note was given to a court official for safekeeping, and not disclosed.

Diana’s children don’t seem to have issues with Camilla, in case you haven’t noticed. Perhaps they know something you don’t?
Think she offered, punitively. . . the 'Royal family' a 'read my hand message'.
In the end; her choices cost her dearly.
Remember, Charles knew Diana better than any of us do.
There is nothing about her personality that is coming out even now that makes me question Charles’ decisions.
However, I do question his decision not to “take one for the team” and suck it up and deal with the wife he chose.

How interesting was it that Mother Teresa died the same week. So much ado about the “whore”, so little made of a woman who served the poor of this world. In the next world, there each will receive her just reward or punishment.

Diana was a victim of divorced parents. It affects kids and as they grow up. As adults they are often insecure, lack confidence and in the case of Diana, looking for a father figure she never had.
Ironically divorced kids often have a very difficult time believing in a heavenly father when their earthly father (biological) abandoned them on earth). I don’t look up to her. I don’t look down on her. I feel sorry for her.
Looks aren’t everything. And in time they fade anyway. There are celebrities who were really good looking when I was growing up who would now make a freight train take a dirt road. In truth looks are relative. Beauty/eye of the beholder. And even people we may consider to be good looking aren’t necessarily good people.
As long as there have been cars and drunk drivers, there have been wrecks. It is an old story, sad but true: four drunks got into a car, one gets out alive.
And liberals everywhere.
