“I don’t think this should come as much of a surprise; after all, Bush said he’d sign the AWB if it were reauthorized by Congress.”

Oh no! Really? I better get that AR before he does. I’ll be so mad if it gets banned just before I can buy one.

Just as long as he hurry's up and leaves. I am so sick of this guy. Sadly, I am more sick of him at this stage than I was of Klinton.

I remember beaming with pride on that cold day in January, 2001 when the Chief Justice swore him in.

Sigh...

As long as those agents engage in numerous "Lubbock firing squads", I'm ok with that...

Anonymous stormtroopers have no place in a free country. Ever...

Funny... I remember thinking, "God, I hope I'm wrong..."

Turns out, I wasn't.

Don’t forget “Constitutionalists”. Feebies and other “law over principle” types hate us and use the term “Constitutionalist” as a pejorative.

if you have to rent a second storage unit just for your guns, you may have too many.

Guess I'm in a lot of trouble then.

Anyone who would actually want to own one of those nasty, smelly, noisy, icky-poo gun-things just has to be insane.

game. set. match.

If your pressed for funds get an AK. The ammo is less expensive too.

"The great object is, that every man be armed. [...] Every one who is able may have a gun." - Patrick Henry, speech of June 14 1788.

"Such are a well regulated militia, composed of the freeholders, citizen and husbandman, who take up arms to preserve their property, as individuals, and their rights as freemen." - "M.T. Cicero", in a newspaper letter of 1788 touching the "militia" referred to in the Second Amendment to the Constitution.

"That the said Constitution shall never be construed to authorize Congress to infringe the just liberty of the press or the rights of conscience; or to prevent the people of the United states who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms..." - Samuel Adams, in Phila. Independent Gazetteer, August 20, 1789.

"The danger (where there is any) from armed citizens, is only to the 'government', not to 'society'; and as long as they have nothing to revenge in the government (which they cannot have while it is in their own hands) there are many advantages in their being accustomed to the use of arms, and no possible disadvantage." - Joel Barlow, Advice to the Privileged Orders, 1792-93

“Who are the mental defectives, by the way?”

Those without a Federal Certificate of Mental Competency, perhaps. There may be a test, or an interview or something. /s

When you need to hide your face to enforce a law in this country, the law must be wrong.

No replies, that he is protecting his undercover identity will be accepted.

“Since “unrestricted’ private ownership of guns
clearly threatens the public safety,”

Should read:

Since “unrestricted’ private ownership of guns
clearly threatens the public “Masters” safety,
they must be restricted to public officials,
police, military and a few hunters./S

Me too. I was just so happy that we finally beat that scum Algore, that we had the Florida crap behind us, that we had finally another president that said he was conservative, that had said the many things he was going to do, and WHAM, the first thing he does is plant a kiss right on Fat Swimmer Kennedy's lips and give us that bloated education bill, and him standing there laughing, smiling and holding hands with Kennedy, it MADE ME SICK. Right then, I told my wife, rut row, Houston we have a problem. I told her right then, when I saw how Jorge loved up to Kennedy, that we had a problem and that something was wrong. I just felt it, knew deep down, that, man, we may regret this. As the years have gone along, I have regretted this decision more than any that I ever made.

Everyone says that we have to vote for the republican nominee no matter what, no matter who he is, no matter what he believes in, no matter what kind of record he has, no matter what!! Well, I don't go along with that. When you vote for the lesser of two evils, you simply elect evil. It also tells our side that evil is okay, and the NEXT TIME, the evil gets just a little worse, and it continues to grow. Just give it an inch and it takes a foot, then a yard, then a mile. That is what has happened to the republican party. People started to allow a little more and a little more, then RINOS like Bush, Arnold, McScream, Rummnie, the Hulkster, and a bunch of other senators. We allowed them in, and like a cancer, it continues to grow. Now, it has taken over. We vote a RINO in this time, next election it is not a RINO, but a full LIBERAL as the republican nominee. We allowed it. Thus, I will not vote for a lesser evil. I will not be a party to voting for this kind of slime. Do I vote for Stalin over Hitler?? One evil over another? People here keep saying that if I don't then Hillary wins. Do you tell me that if we vote in a RINO that we win? I don't think so.

“I’m now convinced that Bush is trying to leave office with the lowest approval ratings of any president in history.”

No, we are merely seeing the real Bush in his last year. Remember:

Law of The Sea
North South highway
Amnesty for Illegals
Persecution and procecution of border guards
Revitalization of Bill Clinton
Giving a pass to Sandy Berger
Massive spending

And now GWB does what the Clintons can’t do as easily, he weakens the second ammendment standing by sending a message to the court. George Bush, meet Jimmy Carter.

Wrong, IMHO,

If you have to rent a second storage unit just for your guns, You are a passonate collector.

If its too big to haul behind you F350 duallie...You love artillary, nothing wrong there, Go to the Knob Creek Gun range in Kentucky and you willl meet many folks like this.

If you need mechanical assitance to life your hand gun, you should work out more.
