I do not like it when the men we depend on use silly excuses like, “We should close Gitmo because the world does not like it.” I want men of steel to be our leaders, especially in war time. I do not like it when President Bush says it. I do not like it when those words come out of namby-pamby men he appoints. We are at war. If we are at war then “Out or Uniform Barbarians” should be kept in prison at the very least. I expect strength of character and strong will from men in the position of the President, Chairman of the JCS, Secretary of Defense and the Deputy Secretary to the Secretary of Defense. If men want to be leaders, then they should damn well lead, especially in time of war.
