It took years for the British to come to terms with the IRA.

And both sides were nominally Christian (Protestant vs. Catholic).

There shall be no rapprochement, ever, between Christianity (or the new paganism that seems to grip Great Britain) and Islam.

“Defender of the faith” shall either have to carry out that directive, or give up the title.

There is always the state of dhimmi for the kafir.

We of The West are definitely immersed in the fight of our lives, but so very many insist upon being complacent sheep. A B. Hussein Obama administration would be delighted to accelerate our descent into Socialism and supplication to Islam while his acolytes remain enthralled in wide-eyed wonder by his Carter-esque demeanor and "soaring rhetoric".

As usual, the adults will need to step in and save Western civilization, but I remain gravely concerned that we are already too late.
