You're welcome. Isn't it amazing how similar the words were to those uttered before he signed the bill as governor? In other words, the man was never pro-choice or pro-abortion. His positions never changed. Funny--you still are unwilling to just admit that.

Seems to me like it did. From the very letter you cite:
If faced with the same problem today, I can assure you I would make sure there were no loopholes in the bill.
From this statement, it appears to me RR changed his political (not necessarily his moral) position: he would be more circumspect regarding loopholes. Not that he was ever pro-abortion, but that he did change his thinking on under what circumstances it was permissible.
The most important commitment to me is the last line in the letter: ...please rest assured there is no way I could or would change my position with regard to my opposition to the permissive abortion that is taking place throughout our land.
I think most of the R candidates agree with that.
