Excuse me. President Ford was an honorable and decent man. He did his best in an incredibly bad situation. Don’t tear down his service to this country to build up your candidate.
I don’t question Ford’s honor, but he absolutely wasn’t cut from conservative cloth. ‘76 was the cusp of the Reagan revolution and Fred was AWOL.
