They weren't "undecided" at the finish of the debate. From what I read, they were pretty well and solidly decided that Fred Thompson shone more brightly than any other candidate in that debate. No "indecision" about it. They may have been and may still be undecided about who they're going to vote for, but they were certain that Thompson outshone the others in the debate in plain performance.

There was no "indecision" at all. The operative words here, for both the Luntz group and Fox News:

DECEPTIVE and DUPLICITOUS.

Maybe I’ll hire Edwards to help me sue the government. I’m only 5’3” and he fights for the little guys, right? There’s no height requirement to be POTUS is there?

Mitt Romney is having a terrific rally in Michigan. If anyone can catch the replay on cspan, it will be encouraging, that we have a candidate who will go the distance

I missed that. I am currently doing slave labor for my wifef. She dictates and I perform as we clean out our pantry.

And here I always thought Manual Labor was the president of Mexico......

I thought Mitt’s rally was good too.

I haven’t watched any of his live events before. Always thought he seemed a little uptight. But at this event he was spontaneous, thinking on his feet, responding to the crowd.

I liked what I saw (and heard).

PS: For those who aren’t watching, Hillary’s microphone went out in the middle of her televised rally. It didn’t just stop working...it was making big rude noises! All live on CNN. LOL!

Don Fowler came up with another mike a few minutes later.
I bet ashtrays are gonna fly over that one!

...and that romney is the closest to my position.

Me, too. Encouraging, because I decided he was the best hopr for our country on the world stage quite a while ago.

Romney did his thing. Got the "change" rap down. Even had the crowd shouting back to his call.

I'll say again - CNN has a good thing going with this coverage. I am very impressed. I listen on XM and Fox has become almost incomprehensible. They usually have too many people talking at once.

The vice presidency would actually fit Thompson pretty well.

Good observation - Thompson as Romney's 'Cheney'. Just for grins, who would be Huckabee's 'Cheney'?

What was the meaning of Wallace’s comment that ‘what happens in Myrtle Beach, stays in Myrtle Beach’??????

#####

I have no idea! Was he referring to some behavior of a Fox panelist in Myrtle Beach, or to remarks about the entire debate of last Thursday?

I'm trying to figure out why the commentators minimize or flat out ignore Wyoming.

- They are ignorant of the fact that Wyoming awarded just as many delegates as New Hampshire {12}.

- The press did not travel to Wyoming to cover it, so in their minds it does not count.

Either way, their facts, and therefore their opinions are severely flawed.

Thanks again, Anita! Thank goodness that we have an online record of the factually incorrect—and just plain DUMB—things that the MSM prints. I hope that “journalism” schools face declining enrollments, as young college grads ALSO see how rotten the MSM is.

I don’t do much Fox surfing during the day, but I do Tivo Fox and Friends every morning.

I can fast foward through the stuff I’m not interested in and watch it in about 30 minutes. I like the hosts. They are likeable and conservative. They do fluff, but who cares, I can take a little fluff.

They also deal with all the news and have good guests.

Bret Baer said a few minutes ago that their reporter is “embedded” with the Romney campaign. First I’ve heard that.

Are Fox reporters actually embedded, or is that just their new buzzword for “covering” a particular campaign?

No, no, no. You want the guy with the right principles and commitment at the top. The executive with vision. You want the good day-to-day manager in the #2 slot, as the ‘COO’.

All the polls show Mitt with too many negatives to possibly win a general election in ‘08. But he’s vigorous and young-appearing for his age, and the veep slot may well give him the boost he needs for a future presidential race.

Interesting that one of these was tinted and brightened. I don't know which one, but the Reuters version is more haggardly, which is the impression I took away from live TV.

Reuters (left) and AP (right):

Regardless, this is the best ABC could muster on their site:

You are the pinnacle of sanity compared to some of these people who, it seems, would prefer a democrat to one of their least-fav rep’s!

{Thompson} needs to make up some ground, and quick.

Why, 60% of the delegates are decided on Feb 5, not in January.

Are you suggesting a sizable portion of (R) primary voters are swayed by how much talking heads talk about a candidate and where they project them to "be"?.. or do you think voters choose based on the known merits of the candidate?
