It’s not like this gun is any better than any other 1911 model. It just has a dorky SIS pattern at the front and back of the slide.

The Kimber is very smooth to fire and easy to control. I would imagine the weight
of this model "Steel" could counter balance the recoil, but I see no
difference from the Standard Kimber. Accept for the polished actions,
which is achievable in any firearm. Overall, a damn fine weapon thats overpriced. IMO.

I don't dispute the quality of Kimbers pistols. I've got one or two of them in my own harem, but it does seem silly sometimes how gun companies sell guns like they are cars anymore.

I personally value skill more than designer guns or all the gadgets and lingerie people buy for them. I'd rather be someone who is genuinely skilled with a Ruger P90 than some poseur with a Wilson Combat Super Grade. I've seen plenty of both.
