It has warmed up this afternoon to -23. Weatherman says maybe -40 tomorrow. It’s been -40 someplace in Alaska all winter and here, too a month ago. Warmest in the past month is about -3, and it gets to grinding on you if you have to deal with machinery.
You must live in somewhere near Fairbanks. I lived in Anchorage many years ago. Part of me has always regretted leaving Alaska. It is the most beautiful and awesome state that we have. The Last Frontier is an apt motto. It is also great to think about how bad the Russians got screwed on that deal. Seward’s folly my arse!
