“I think Fred would of been wise to not have “dissed” Christian voters”
I find that interesting. I am a Christian voter and have never felt dissed by Fred. I have however been offended by the way Huck is campaigning...touting his Christian creds but acting in a way far more aligned with the corrupt Clintons from Arkansas. When you obfuscate records, to me thats thats outright lying.
Freds record stands on his pro-life commitment, and his record is something that Huck has yet to confront...Why? he cannot.
This is an interesting column:

And I agree, as a Christian voter I have never felt “dissed” by Thompson.
Not only did I see it, I still see it. Do you not see the pictures making fun of Christians right here before your eyes. Make fun of Huck's awful voting record, it is fact he has a horrible liberal streak in him. But making fun of Huck because he is Christian doesn't cut it with me. My post was just pointing out the obvious, if you don't make nice with Christians (especially the popcorn voters) don't expect to get far in an election. Popcorn Christians aren't bad folks, but are easily deceived it seems. Popcorn Christian voters are as likely to vote for a RINO as a Reagan, but one thing they do take to heart is when they are being spit upon.
I just don't think the anti-Christian vile will sway Christian popcorn voters for a candidate, and that Fredheads would be wise to drop that losing game plan. Whether they like it or not, without a big Christian voter output on election day, a candidate is sunk.
In a nutshell... Fred Thompson folks don't have winning game plan if they focus on sarcastically dealing with Christian voters, they need to focus on the issues that also have bearing on what voters vote for.. unfortunately for them, Huck (as far as I know) has a strong pro-life stance, Fred can't touch that, and in reality Fred's stance on abortion is one of his weaker positions. Huck knows he can't defend his voting record, but He can defend himself being a Christian, Fred (and his FR supporters) would be wise not to make that the issue.
