I live in Tennessee. My children and grandchildren are grads of UofM. by your logic, I would be voting for Fred. I never said that anyone is obligated to vote for anyone. That wasn’t my point, and you know it.
Then why bring it up, unless it’s a feeble attempt to guilt people who liked Huckabee’s music back then into supporting him now? If that wasn’t your intent, then your post was a complete non sequitor, since Huckabee’s actions years ago at the FReeper ball are completely irrelevant to yesterday’s thin-skinned comment and the fact that Huckabee can’t refute the charges, so like a Dem, he attacks the messenger instead, and in an ugly, uncalled for personal way.
No one is obligated to support a candidate based on a personal relationship, and it is not wrong or unseemly in the least for Freepers to have applauded Huckabee for what he did then, while disliking what he’s doing now. Freepers who thought his playing at the ball was positively wonderful have no obligation whatsoever to think that everything else he ever does is wonderful, too. Especially when the self proclaimed “Christian leader” is acting like a horse’s *ss.
