Looks like Shucksters are rolling today. Time for a reality check.

Let’s look at Fred Thompson on the issues.

Although tough talking on border control, Fred Thompson has a rather weak record from his time in the Senate. Americans for Better Immigration only gave him a career grade of C. And on chain migration, visa lotteries, reducing unnecessary visas, asylum fraud, and reducing amnesties, he received rather low marks.*

Thompson is almost certainly pro-abortion, regardless what he feigns. He has said, “The ultimate decision must be made by the woman.” In other words, he believes it’s a “choice.”

Thompson is pro-affirmative action, and his two votes in the Senate guaranteed that under-qualified minorities would be given preference over Euro-Americans (i.e. white people). Thompson obviously believes that victimology should trump hard work.

And like all neocons, Thompson supports free trade, which is destroying our economy and undermining our sovereignty. Historically, conservatives opposed free trade, and they should; it’s national suicide. But Thompson like many GOP cheerleaders has been “neoconned” on this issue.

In foreign policy, Fred Thompson is an adamant neocon globalist. He is a fellow at the neocon American Enterprise Institute, and a member of the neocon / neoliberal Council on Foreign Relations, which supports the creation of a North American Union and the eradication of American sovereignty.**

In short, Fred Thompson is no real conservative. He’s a neocon globalist. Only look at his past actions, memberships and words.

Past actions you say...

You mean, like his 100% Pro-Life voting record?

Memberships you say...

You mean like how all these pro-life organizations are endorsing him?

The rest of this conspiracy, guilt by stretched logic diatribe is the sort of thing from the John Birch Society.

If you buy a suscription to Foreign Affairs magazine: Congratulations! in addition to a great magazine offering widely differing points of view written by major players in foreign policy, you just became a member of the massive world-wide super-secret conspiracy known as CFR. Something must be wrong, because when I had a subscription, I never got the super secret tea that forced me to believe every word published - kind of like how I sometimes disagree with what it written in AOPA Pilot magazine.

I guess that whole thing by Kennan on containment (originally proposed in FA) was really a dirty trick by the ruskies and one-worlders?

Oh, and don’t let me forget to mention your concept of trade is populist inspired protectionism and tariffs (aka taxes!) so high that we can’t compete or afford anything; while every advocate of free trade I ever heard (can you say Ronald Reagan) made it clear that free trade needed to be reciprocal...can you say “fair trade”.

See, I’ve actually been outside your county and my county; I’ve even left my state before, not to mention the US and North American continent - there are a lot of people out here we can sell US made quality products to (= jobs, = revenue).

There are also some wackos out here who want to kill us for our ideas and existence, regardless of our foreign policy; I’d rather hunt them down and kill them here, then wait until they show up on my doorstep. Call it what you want...
