The funny thing is the way the Iraqis have the system working now is just as good as the law. The Oil revenue sharing is all ready going on between regional Govts. There just no over reaching National law. Why the Iraqis are so so slow to just adopt this current system nationally I do not understand.

The Oil law will come eventually. Democrats are might as well wave the white flag, they are playing a lossing hand and will be losing cards from that hand every month from now to Nov 2008

The Iraqis are operating under the Saddam era law until they can get some kind of new law. The only real problem for them is trying to resolve the Kurds determination to go their own way.

Maybe they are working on getting it right the first time, unlike our congress critters who would pass some piece of crap law just to look good in the next news cycle???
