Thank you very much for the info. I doubt they will give it to him as he is on an iv chemo treatment. He is on it to fight a tumor in his lung. He has been on it for about 8 yrs but seems not to mind it too much. He has had many strokes & the nursing home would like me to stop the chemo but my dad refuses. I won't agree with taking him off it as he can & does make most of his own medical decisions still. Since they basically granny napped him & took all he had I think if he wants to stay on it he should be able to.
My dad loves me to read him FR comments on Jimmy Carter. He truly hates that man & if he could be on FR I think he would really enjoy it.
Blessings to you and to your dad. A loved one of mine recently passed away after being an Alzheimers sufferer for about 8 years. I do hope and pray this new discovery will give hope to millions of people, and their loved ones, suffering from this terrible disease.
