The conservative movement is in trouble anyway.

The Republican Party has decided that pandering to the left for votes is more important than conservative principles.

Even after losing in 2006, they still don’t get it.

Based on everything I’m seeing in polls AND actual votes, it will take 4 years of insanity like Hillary or Obama to give conservatism a chance. Too many people have forgotten what high taxes and unvarnished social liberalism does to a country. Even Bill Clinton couldn’t obey his liberal instincts for long - he only had 2 years before Congress went to the Republicans and they fought him with great success.

It doesn’t help that Republicans in Congress have become liberal, and I would be hard pressed to point to any domestic policies the Bush administration is taking that Bill Clinton wouldn’t have found acceptable.

Rush is wrong. A few liberal professors aren’t enough to remind voters what liberalism does. Americans have EARNED President Hillary Clinton.

Any suggestions on a good candidate for 2012?
