Mitt Romney running a close second when it comes releasing killers. Not the same direct route, but a close second.

Right, it’s so much a like /sarc. Huckabee lobbies for the release of prisoners after personally reviewing their cases, and then defends those actions.

Romney appoints a judge who liberals decry as being too much a law-and-order judge, and not compassionate enough. Years later, that judge decides that a $50,000 bail is too high and lets the guy out on his own recognisance instead, and the state justice system loses him. They find him in Washington but don’t persue him seriously. The guy was a criminal, but had served his time and been released without ANY help from the governor, although the liberals who run the justice system failed to file paperwork to hold him longer because of crimes he committed in prison, something Romney could do nothing about.

A close second?? Romney had nothing to do with the judge’s decision. Huckabee was directly responsible for the release of Dumond.
