I was looking for the box.
After-all, Who can east just one?

Someone else brought that up yesterday when this story was posted in another thread, so I had a look at the ingredients.
They contain canola oil, which contains off-label "trans-fats" (and not the good kind, like conjugated linoleic acids). The processing (specifically, the deodorization) to create canola oils involves high temperatures, causing the polyunsaturated oils to change to trans fatty acids. But the process does not involve explicit "hydrogenation", so they can legally specify 0 trans fat, the same way that butter specifies 0.
It is another one of those cases where government definitions supersede biochemistry.

Only the elite socialists will have Cheez-Its. Only the elite socialists will have what they outlaw for you.
How old is this story? It's always been and always will be.

If it is Obambi Vs. Huckster , this is your next POTUS .
There is no chance in hell this elmerfuddian dork gets elected president as an independent candidate. He might draw some of the pro-nanny-state vote from Hillary though, because hes even more condescending towards the dumb little people.

Youre missing the bigger picture. What if someone said they were going to take everyones guns away, including theirs and yours, but then they were caught on camera with a gun.
Wouldnt that be the height of hypocrisy?
When it comes to Cheez-Its, I really don't think there is a bigger picture. As to the gun control issue you're talking about, I don't think it's hypocrisy as much as breaking the law. I don't think the NYC ban prevents eating stuff with trans fat in it as much as having it prepared for consumption in NYC restaurants.
