I had heard that Romney joined the NRA about a year ago when he decided to run for President.

He seems to shift his positions on abortion, gun rights, and gay marriage like the wind blows - apparently not because he truly believes in them, but purely for political expediency.

For Mitt Romney to be 60 years old still switching positions back and forth on these core issues represents a basic lack of solid moral foundation in his life - and definitely disqualifies him to be America’s President.

There is one position no one can switch.

IQ.

This guy is almost certainly the most brilliant man ever to run for President. The GOP president in 2009, facing a Democrat Congress with a majority that will also almost certainly be larger than it is today, needs to be brilliant more than he needs to be a chest pounding stalwart.

Hardened positions generate veto overrides. Genius generates diluted legislation that does nothing.
