Bingo. My parents work in Branson, MO. Wages were starting to increase to a livable level for the service industry - then the illegals started showing up.
The businesses that hired illegals will take a hit...but those that didnt will reap benefits
Since illegals were low paid, their leaving has little impact negatively....and a huge impact positively. The increase in wages will result in lower taxes with more revenue as illegals employers will have to return to a real-market wage
In the long term, Oklahoma will prosper. The doom and gloom of the pro-illegal/anti-American crowd will be proved wrong.
I am tired of media pro-illegal/anti-American spin. 1804 is a good law....and the Sooner state will reap its rewards
