Fred “The Natural” Thompson
Flopping Aces ^ | 1/10/08 | Curt

Work took me away from watching the debate so all I can gauge how it went on is other bloggers and man o’ man, does it look like Fred took it or what? The best take on it tonight comes from Jim Geraghty:

Tonight, Fred Reminded Me of Roy Hobbs.

Winner: Thompson. This performance was so commanding, I wanted his last answer to echo back to the lights in the back of the auditorium, blow out all the lamps and spotlights, for the theme to “the Natural” to play, and for him to trot around the stage in slow motion while sparks showered down in the background.

Who else than FRED could take off Mc Cain mask and lies?
May be it will be time after SC?
The strategy is maybe to nail FRED’s statements on immigration, war on terror,abortion,mariage...and drive Mc Cain on these issues

Fred needs to stay on offense. He is at his best when he does. This is the ultimate Superbowl.

He should keep pointing out Hucks record and start sticking it to McCain.

I know they are friends but McCain would stab him first chance he gets.

I know there are rumors that Fred is just going to end up backing McCain. I doubt it, though. I sure hope not.

I still would feel safer if it was Hunter.

Right now my main concerns are stopping McCain and keeping
the race open.

I hope people will vote Romney on Tuesday in Michigan to give him a win and stop McCain at the same time.

I also hope that people will vote for Fred Thompson in South Carolina next Saturday to give him a win and keep this thing going.

People shouldn’t allow themselves to become robots of the mainstream media, etc.

We can tell the media where to go and take some control over this race.

The insider media types are trying to shove McCain down our throats and I say we send him back to them.
