Huckabee attacks Romney, Romney attacks McCain and Huckabee, McCain attacks Romney. If you notice that is why they have gotten so much attention in the last debates.

Huckabee has been passing himself off as something he is not and in the process taking votes that would normally go to Fred. If Fred did not expose Huckabee's statements and former positions no one would.

I thought Fred did great and forced Huckabee to defend his positions and thats part of the game of politics.

Huckabee and McCain give generalities and when confronted on former votes or former statements they tend to have nothing to fall back on but accusations of negative campaigning.

Huckabee and McCain looked bad tonight. Its good for Huck to taste the real fire because if he can't get through Republican attacks how will he withstand the Clinton machine that know him so well.

I also agree with your tagline.

Huckabee was on Fox & Friends this morning saying that Fred lied about him in his attacks and should have spent more time talking about his own record. I was shocked. Huckabee wouldn’t know the truth if it hit him upside his head.

It bothered me to see Fred have to attack Huck that way because it is not in his nature.

But he has GOT to do what he has got to do to win.

Sitting back with the attitude “they can take me or leave me” isn’t going to win him the nomination.

Hell, Fred’s an actor right? If he has to “act” to do it, then so be it. He has to convince the voters why he is THE best choice.

After he wins he can go back to the “real” Fred.. the mature and steady adult that we need to lead this country.. and world.
