Only a few months ago scientists were suggesting that the only reasonable solution to the Global Warming catastrophe was injecting large amounts of sulphur into the upper atmosphere.

Look's like Mother Nature will beat us to it.

Hold on, there is a volcano currently erupting in Chile, it has been for the last 4 days

Mt Llaima, situated in the Conguillio National Park, about 650 km (400 miles) south of the capital, Santiago.

Somebody needs to figure out just how much Greenhouse Gas this and the Equadorian volcano pump into the atmosphere. I bet they put many, many more times the amount than we can ever eradicated through conservation strategies.

In other words, the GW Carbon Credit crowd are pissing up a rope when it comes to affecting world climate with their stupid conservation strategies.

This volcano has been erupting off and on for years now. A few years ago they completely evacuated the resort town at its base, the army occupied it to prevent looting. Eventually it calmed down, and the inhabitants were allowed back in.

Its a picture perfect volcano.

At about the same time the volcano at the edge of Quito was acting up, and they were gearing up for an eruption there, which in the end didn’t happen. Lots of ash, though.
