Blogger Teleconference Call with Fred Thompson

I had the opportunity to participate on a bloggers teleconference call with Senator Fred Thompson to talk about his presidential campaign.

But let me first mention that before Fred came on the call,

***

we were all told of the latest big name to endorse him, and that endorsement will be announced tomorrow.

***

Fred took a lot of questions, but I really want to recap his opening remarks. I expect that will see a more engaged Fred D. Thompson tonight in the debate, hammering home key positions that he stands for and the platform he is running on.

Fred says that they have been in South Carolina since Monday, and have traveled all across the state and its like a homecoming for him. He is very popular and known in SC and he has been very well received. Dollars have been coming in good and the campaign is drawing the line in South Carolina, (Do or Die?).

He says he is the only clear and consistent Conservative on the scene and ran through his record of tax cuts, fighting for the 2nd Amendment, fighting for conservative judges and pointed out his 100% Pro-Life record.

Time is running out for Fred and with a good debate tonight and a strong, and hopefully victorious primary in SC, the path to victory for him will be visible.
