THANK YOU - you say it much more eloquently than I could possibly have thought of...its why Ive been saying that if the GOP picks one of the RINOS, especially McCain and/or Huckabee, I will immediately divorce myself from the Republican party. The only power that I have right now is to cast that one vote in the elections - I am not part of any campaign or convention. The only say I have as an ordinary American just trying to handle the life Ive been given is at that voting booth, and I will not be made to settle for the best of the worst. If the GOP has turned its coats to the Leftists in their party, then I am walking...and its THEIR loss, not mine. They should not come crying to me when they find out they’ve been had.

I appreciate what you say. If you go through this thread, you'll see that there are two camps.

One holds to the tactic of resigning themselves to a RINO "if" the GOP nominates one. They are motivated by fear, and have decided in advance to choose a "best of the worst". They tend to have an "ANYBODY but Hillary attitude.

The other (that would be us) is not motivated by fear, and could care less who the GOP nominates. We have decided in advance to do what is right and correct, even if it means Hillary Clinton occupies the Executive Office because we penciled in Duncan Hunter, or anybody else for that matter.

Far too many people don't understand this train of thought. Far too many people are driven by what the GOP and the MSM "thinks". I've been called stupid, a leftist, an enemy of the Republic, and plenty of other names. But I am none of those things. I'm a "holdout" from an era that we are quickly losing all touch with. There are too many of "me" to permit a RINO to take the Whitehouse in 2008. Unfortunately, the result will be that the enemy wins that position. But the mechanics of how this will happen has been explained dozens of times to those who live in fear and are willing to vote RINO if pressed. If they are to filled with fear, or to stupid to comprehend it, then there is not much I can do to help. :-)
