Well, I disagree with the point about Rudy, certainly over McCain whose record shows contempt for the Republican party and this President in particular. No one changes my view on life and guns and quite frankly these issues won’t go anywhere in the next 4 years unless we get a democrat, but if we don’t elect a PRO-ISRAEL President, America can just kiss it ALL goodby. The Middle East is where the focus is on the WAR on Terror and we’ve GOT to have somebody in there who UNDERSTANDS the BIG picture. McCain would be ok in the defense dept, but NOT as President. Rudy gets it on the BIG issues - Israel, terrorism, tax cuts, and smaller gov’t. Huckabee is not Presidential material, Romney will speak to his lawyers before taking int’l action, and McCain I know to be a selfish politician, concerned for himself first.

First do no harm. Don’t vote for a third party. A vote for a third party is a vote for Shrillery or Osama. Haven’t we learned our lesson with the first Clintoon presidency?

Sorry, but I don’t “settle” And although I’m willing to compromise, not with my principles thank you!. I intend to cast my vote for Fred, even if I have to write it in...

Voting for Thompson would be a compromise of Conservative principles.

If Hunter is on the ballot in Michigan, I am voting for him. None of the rest of the R’s can be trusted to be anything but RINOs, including Fred. I like him a lot, but I look at all that he has done in the past and now he wants me to believe he’ll be different.

The only thing we can do is to give all we can to Fred.

You'd be far better off giving to Duncan Hunter. He is the only Conservative left in the GOP race

We get behind whoever is nominated..end of story.

That type of thinking has caused the GOP to be in its current predicament. The result is increasingly socialistic candidates such as Thompson, McCain, Giuliani, Romney and Huckabee and Paul. The GOP must support Duncan Hunter if it has any hope of returning to Conservatism.

But what we really need to worry about is getting more seats in both houses.

Republicans paramount concern should be returning to what once was its Conservative base.

Your opinion, not mine. FWIW: I do not believe it would be a compromise to support either man...

“You’d be far better off giving to Duncan Hunter. He is the only Conservative left in the GOP race”

It would take about $500,000,000.00 to get Hunter up to 10% and then what?

I have read that about half of all Federal Judges are on our side. We need to lock in 1/3 of the entire federal power structure, the Supreme Court. We are two justices away.

If the Dems get in, we get set back for a decade, maybe two.

If we( Conservatives ) get the Justices, we can undo a lot of the damage the Marxists have done for the past hundred years.

We can really reap in a few years. I’ll support who ever is the Republican is, for the promise of the supremes.

We're in the same camp, Leisler. The thought of Obama or - heaven forbid - Hillary Clinton - appointing even one Supreme Court justice is beyond frightening to us. We're voting for whoever the GOP nominee will be... unless it's that kook Ron Paul, of course...

IMHO, there is an unholy alliance between Huckabee and McPain. Huck’s mission is to knock Fred and Mitt out and in return he probably gets VP from McPain.

That’s sounds about right. My worry is after Hitlery cheats her way into the race it will be a Huckabee/McCain ticket with the mantra being “Good vs. Evil”. And we all now that will be the biggest joke of the year.

Lord help us...

Amazing that Hope, Arkansas....home of the Huckster is right in the middle of this Clintonian Map.

Gun Control is about to be mainstream.

You must have forgotten McCain’s terrorist protection bill he pushed through Congress.

‘Unilateral Disarmament’

http://www.opinionjournal.com/best/?id=110007692

President Bush has apparently capitulated on the “torture” issue, agreeing to accept, with only slight modifications, Sen. John McCain’s amendment that would ban “cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment” of terrorists in U.S. custody. CNN quotes McCain: “I think that this will help us enormously in winning the war for the hearts and minds of people throughout the world in the war on terror.”
