Your post describes my feelings exactly.
A question, Jim. Is this a bait thread or is it for real? I feel like the earth has spun off it’s axis and is hurdling into the void. MCain? I can’t believe it.....
Duncan Hunter and Duncan Hunter only.
If the 'powers that be' succeed in dismissing him from the ticket......may God have mercy, cause we're going to need it.
I never thought something like this (the media picking the candidate field we're allowed to choose from----and they're ALL RINO'S!!!!-all due respect I will leave Thompson off of this list)) would happen in my time....
I am truly scared for our nation..
I somehow am not thrilled at the prospect of any of these RINOs appointing supreme court justices. Rudy is pro-choice, pro-gay, pro-illegal alien, anti-gun and has a record of appointing liberal judges. And he lies a lot. Romney’s not much better. McCain is insanely unreliable. Have no idea what kind of judges Huckabee has appointed in Arkansas, maybe someone can fill us in.
In any case, it’s FRed for me all the way.
Amen, Jim!
Agreed! What could be worse than two or three more Ruth "Badder" Ginsburgs on the SCOTUS?
If Tancredo’s so anti-amnesty, why in tarnation didn’t he endorse Hunter who built the darn fence in San Diego, and pushed the bill through to get the fences built in the other states?????????????????????
I know Paul doesn’t have a chance. But I really don’t have that big a problem with Paul. So He AND Huckaboo need some tutoring on foreign policy. Other than that, Paul is a good constitutionalist and gets huge props from me for being the only NON member of the CFR. If Paul were not calling for immediate withdrawal of troops, I believe most FReepers would support him. Having said that, GO FRED!
The first amendment is not dependent on whether one votes or not. One has the right to vote, or not to vote.
In case y’all haven’t see this from the boss man!
Nope thank God!
He already did.
Roughly 300 of them.
If the latter, on to Fred for me.
If that fails, then a long period of quiet thinking, which will probably result in a vote for the Conservative Alternative rather than for either of the two Democrats in the General Election in November.
What you said goes for me as well.
Thompson is the dividing line for me. If any of the candidates except Fred and Hunter, all of whom are way to the left of Thompson and even farther left of Hunter, wins nomination I will vote for the minor party which comes closest to my views on the important issues. I will never again vote for a RINO no matter who the Democrat nominee is or how awful he or she may be.
After trying to figure out the weird dynamics that are driving voter choices in this campaign season on both sides, I gave up and have now arrived at the simple conclusion that people deserve the kind of officials they vote for. If you vote for a Democrat and he or she wins you deserve the screwing you will get from that Democrat, and if you vote for a RINO and he/she wins you likewise deserve what you will get. Which BTW will not be much different from what you would get from the Democrat if he/she wins.
I just pointed out specific reasons why he doesn’t truly support the military or our country. And, FYI, a lot of military men don’t trust McInsane as well.
The worst Republican is better than the best Democrat.
I never, ever, want the Clintons back in the White House. I never, ever, want Barack Hussein Obama in the White House.
Brit Hume just said the SC primary Republican race is down to three: Romney, Huckabee and McCain. Two sentences later said "Thompson can't be counted out." and then said "but essential the race is down to those three."
And peanut-brain Carter, too.
I'm not a McCain supporter. Fred is my choice. But the fact is McCain draws almost as much military support as Fred. One of the reasons that McCain wins in NH is because of the large retired military population in NH. U.S. Army Retired |
