NO FRONT-RUNNER LEAVES ROOM FOR RUDY AWAKENING (Robot Rooty ready--programmed to alienate)
NY POST ^ | January 9, 2008 | Charles Hurt, DC Bureau Chief

Posted on 01/10/2008 4:53:39 AM PST by Liz

McCain's NH victory was the best news for Giuliani's wacko strategy of hiding in the dugout until the final innings....the Republican nom remains completely up for grabs and probably will remain so for several more weeks. If McCain is the nominal front-runner, the Palmetto State - where voters have very long memories and carry very long grudges - will rise up and destroy him on illegal immigration. It is altogether possible that a sure conservative like Fred Thompson wins SC, further flattening the field. And a flattened field heading into Florida is the only way Giuliani can hope his strange strategy will pay off.

NH was good news for Giuliani's strange, wacko strategy of hiding out in the dugout until the final innings.......then strolling in to hit 22 homeruns on Super Tuesday (snicker).........

Rooty The Robot is ready---but are voters ready for him? Clearly, 9/11 Rooty's built his campaign around the only skill he has---cleaning up after bombings.

As the shortest candidate and the only lisper, 9/11 gave him the opportunity to fulfill a deep psychological need----to strut around pretending he's somebody. Robot Rooty is programmed for problems---to repeat 9/11 over and over. It's the only thing he's campaigned on.

Can voters honestly say Giuliani will be a peacemaker?

Giuliani seems the least likely of all the candidates to be a level-headed negotiator to calm world tensions. One can only ponder how many US allies will be alienated (and enemies inflamed) by this egomaniac's compulsion to strut on the global stage.

Perpetual war is the objective of some of his backers. Rooty's handlers---the "Endless War Hopefuls"---are salivating over visions of trillions of US tax dollars flooding the Mideast IN ADDITION to the trillions of US dollars already saturating those Mideast hellholes.

None of 'em can strap on a pair of brass ones without US taxpayers providing zillions of dollars.

Sweet Jesus---so many good reasons NOT to vote for gun-grabber, abortion-worshipper Giuliani. They just keep piling up (chuckle).

Not to forget Rooty's renewable-energy space-program pipe dream. This from a guy who calls himself a "fiscal conservative."

Rudy’s campaign should be DOA, but remember, he is appealing for the votes of Yankees living in So. Florida, and they are dumb as rocks. They are also Democrats, so that may present a small obstacle for Rudy’s handlers, as well.

Watching Rooty navigate the political process is like viewing a horror film festival---he's got more sequels than Bela Lugosi.

Porking his mistress on the taxpayers' dime,

Secrecy about his global business dealings that will get a federal bonanza,

Maybe pardonning his pal Kerik--an admitted felon; Kerik is Rooty's former bodyguard, driver, Police Commissioner, failed Homeland appointee, and business partner (in that order)

What else is he hiding under his cape?

Rooty's the "chaos candidate"----he needs chaos, and thrives on it.

Didn’t Rudy flake out of a contest with the Hilldebeast once before?

Anyway, I would take him over the two in my tagline.

As much as I detest Rudy, I'd have to say that getting diagnosed with cancer isn't quite the same as flaking out of a contest.

Was that diagnosis around the time of bad poll numbers or personal scandal? If he was sick then, how can he be truly well now?

WRT Rooty's cancer history, FReeper calcowgirl did the excellent research; on Sept 2007 she posted her findings:

Rudy claimed it was cancer, but was up and working almost immediately after quitting the Senate race. To those playin' violins about his debilitating cancer and the chemo treatment, here are excerpts from news reports that tell the real story:

Rudy had radioactive seed implantation on September 15 and was up on his feet in a day. There was no chemo.

He missed a day or two of work and within a week he had marched in a parade, presided over a town hall-style meeting, gone on the stump for Lazio, and conducted daily press conferences, including one pushing a $1 Billion taxpayer subsidized stadium in Manhattan's West Side after holding meetings with both the Yankees and Jets owners that week.

Back in May, 2000, when he dropped out a mere 11 days before the State Convention where he was to be nominated leaving the GOP high and dry (with no other choice but to recruit Lazio), the doctors said they thought campaigning was perfectly within his physical capabilities and, if he started treatment right way, he would have recovered and been "full speed" by the time the campaign normally kicked in. Instead, he delayed that procedure until September.

IMO, Rudy dropped out because a) he knew he was going to get his arse whooped and b) he had a better $$$offer$$$.

Mayor of New Yawk.
Wow.
War on Crime. Double wow. He essentially went to the chief crook/cop (pick one) and said “howsabout we enforce the laws for a change?”
Copcrook says “Ok”. And actually does it.
Pretty much that’s it.

Too true. Mayor of New York is just that...mayor. He is tied to what the city council decides to do, not by any edict or proclamation he makes.

It takes more than that to be POTUS.

9/11? He was the face the city saw, because he was mayor. But he was inconsequential because the Feds took over the investigation, and the security and cleanup. Rudy was just the photo-op guy.

His stances on guns, abortion, and illegals make him better as a Dim candidate, than a Repub.

His 15 minutes are over.
