Public schools: The new red-light district?

If you've driven through any large city (and many smaller ones), you've probably been exposed to what's called a "red-light district." It is a seedy, run-down area of town with porn shops, bars and strip clubs – a place where anything goes. Few people would want one of these blighted areas in their backyard or want their children exposed to the filth and perversion there.

But most of us don't realize that we have a red-light district just down the street from our homes. And our children are not only allowed to be there, their presence is actually required by law.

Thanks to public apathy and the efforts of misguided state and federal lawmakers, activist judges and liberal teacher's unions, our nation's schools have become the new red-light district of the 21st century.

The proof....

From the article:

A March 1995 research report...determined that teachers sexually abusing their students are often “judged to be among the best teachers in a district and are very popular with students and parents.”

Perhaps Walter Williams, the distinguished professor of economics at George Mason University, said it best, "… the problem is the overall quality of people teaching our children." (from the article)

He may have been referencing academic deficits, but it certainly appears that most of the nation's public school teachers also lack the moral character to stand up and be whistleblowers when it comes to exposing the red-light district for what it is. (from the article)

What about Christian teachers? Do they lack the moral character? Let's examine this?

Government schools are dedicated to a systematic, daily, and continuous indoctrination whose purpose is the destruction of the Judeo Christian foundation that upholds the freedom we enjoy. Surely the students notice this and also notice that the government's school's philosophy does not coincide with the Christian beliefs that the Christian teachers are supposed represent and model.

What are the students learning from Christian teachers who are cooperating, assisting and supporting the above indoctrination?

Students learn that Christians are hypocrites; will sell their beliefs for a paycheck and a pension; are too lukewarm or timid in their faith to protest. So? If Christ would spit people like this our of His mouth, should we be surprised that students might also reject the faith? Sadly, the stats seem to indicate this. 85% of Christian youth reject their faith within 2 years of graduating from government high school. In contrast 90% or more of homeschoolers maintain their activity.)

It is time for Christian teachers to do one of 2 things:

1) Vigorous reject, protest, and refuse to cooperate with those parts of the government school curriculum, policy, and textbooks that undermine Judeo Christian principles. In other words, they should fully expect to be fired.

2) Quit!

If Christian teachers think they can sneak in a little Christian morally, they are only going to teach the students that Christians are sneaky.

If they tell the students that they know it is lies but then teach it anyway, then they are teaching the students that Christians will willingly teach lies.

Sorry!,,,but later when these youth meet real missionaries the job of the real missionary will be MUCH harder.

Why? The job of the true missionary will be harder because the student will have learned from the example of his Christian teachers that Christians are timid, lukewarm, sneaky, liars, hypocrites, who will sell their professed beliefs for a paycheck and a pension. So?...Who wants to belong to a religion like that?

Jasoncann,
This article deserves a Naughty teacher ping

From the article:

Sexual abuse perpetrated by public school faculty or staff is shown by some studies to be as shockingly high as 5 percent, with sexual harassment figures soaring as high as 82 percent. A March 1995 research report by professors Charol Shakeshaft and Audrey Cohan, titled “Sexual Abuse of Students by School Personnel,” determined that teachers sexually abusing their students are often “judged to be among the best teachers in a district and are very popular with students and parents.” In situations where sexual abuse had clearly occurred, “superintendents rarely contacted the police or the district attorney’s office, nor did they usually report the allegations to child abuse hotlines. ” In fact, “nearly 37 percent of the accused teachers continued to work in their districts, despite the belief by their superintendents that they had sexually abused a student.”

Barely 50% of teachers are still teaching after five years out of school. Teacher retention is a huge problem except, apparently, among child molesters.

Possible Homosexual Agenda and Moral Absolutes Ping!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

From the article:

The proof:

Gay-Straight Alliances, or GSAs, serve as illicit sex breeding grounds in more than 3,000 public schools across America. The GSA Network News links students to socials, seminars, conferences and other events enabling adult homosexuals to develop relationships with young people. A recent announcement seeks “queer youth models” who are males age 15-18 “or look under 18.” Still another invites young people to a free movie screening described as being a “sexy, sensory treat.” October’s news featured a free “Queer Girl Retreat” for females ages 24 and younger for “two days of radical queer education about community, bodies and pleasure.”

GSA activists within public schools have inserted obscene material fit for a red-light district into both libraries and classroom discussions. Considered “sexual literacy,” assigned books explore sexual perversions, including teen sex with adults. One book titled “The God Box” questions the “interpretation” of Biblical passages on homosexuality. Constitutional law attorney Matt Barber describes the irresponsibility as nothing short of “educational malpractice.”

This raw sexual material is now moving front-and-center into core subject areas. The GSA Network is offering a “New Campaign Guide,” titled “Sharing Our Stories,” to its middle and high school student clubs, designed to inject “LGBTQ curriculum into history, social science and literature classes.”

Active recruitment efforts even offer financial incentives for students. Several pro-homosexual groups are awarding $3,500 to the winner of a video contest on sex education. Entrants as young as 15 have two themes to choose from. They can either share their “sex ed experience” and show “how and why it sucked or rocked,” or “redesign how sex ed could be delivered (and) imagine that anything is possible.” Sadly, even the largest education associations are on board with the abuse of children. The California Safe Schools Coalition promotes pro-homosexual textbook changes and is supported by both the California Teachers Association, or CTA, and the California School Nurses Association. The CTA represents more than 340,000 public school teachers and related staff.

Last May, one public school speaker in Colorado best captured the message permeating today’s public school culture by telling students to “have sex, do drugs, men with men, women and women, whatever combination you would like.”

This would be the sex positive agenda which has a couple goals: to end all moral judgements over sexual pairings of any kind and to see everyone sexually active at every age. They (feminists/Kinsey/Reich) see sexual pleasure as a birthright and they see abstinence as an unhealthy supression of sexual desire.

This sex positive agenda would contribute to the destruction of the Judeo Christian principles which make all freedom possible. I’m sure that’s the Marxists’ plan.

So?,,,,I bet there were Christian teachers sitting in that assembly. Do you think that they stood up, gathered their students with them, and walked out? I doubt it!

Yet,,,by supporting, aiding, and abetting this conference what lessons are Christian teachers teaching ( by example) to their students?

Answer: That Christians aid and abet evil for a pay check and a pension. That Christians are more timid about losing their jobs than doing what is right, or that Christians are a lukewarm bunch and really don’t care about their beliefs.

Will the job of true missionaries be harder or easier after example of these Christian teachers? Answer: Harder!

It’s time for Christian teachers to quit or get fired!

hey (feminists/Kinsey/Reich) see sexual pleasure as a birthright and they see abstinence as an unhealthy supression of sexual desire.

Well, if it's a birthright, then aren't people justified in claiming it? What recourse have you if you're denied sex? This twisted view seems to validate rape.

How does that compare to other career fields? I am not challenging you per se, but I don't know how relevant that statistic is right now.

I don’t know, but you have a point. How many people with a sociology degree are still doing sociology five years later?

There is a huge difference between teacher retention in large urban areas and teachers who teach in the rural “bible belt” areas also. Around here the only reason they are looking for new teachers is because one of them is out on maternity leave.
Of course having to deal with how the kids were raised before they get in the system is the major factor, and people get REAL touchy about doing surveys where race and ethnicity is involved anymore.
