Don't let the "Comeback Gal" spin fool you. Despite the unexpectedly close finish in New Hampshire, Hillary Clinton's campaign remains in a tailspin. And the Clintons' pre-Granite State primary finger-pointing has left an indelible mark. It's the media's fault. It's sexism's fault. It's the vast right-wing conspiracy's fault.
Oh, and it's all your fault that you laugh out loud when she tries to steal the mantle of "change" from Barack Obama by surrounding herself on stage with moldy political fogies like Madeleine Albright, Wesley Clark and James Carville.
Watching the Clinton "crack-up" before the vote was less like watching glass shatter upon sudden impact and more like watching wax melt under slow, steady heat.
It took a lifetime of lies, deception, hypocrisy and hardball power grabs before Hillary and Bill's political facades disintegrated. But now, finally, the empty dummy molds underneath have been laid bare completely.
Many will point to Hillary's watery-eyed performance at a Portsmouth rally on Monday as a watershed moment.
Down in the polls and facing imminent defeat, the erstwhile anti-Tammy Wynette turned on the spigot and played damsel in distress: "It's not easy, and I couldn't do it if I didn't passionately believe it was the right thing to do. You know, I have so many opportunities from this country. I just don't want to see us fall backward, you know?"

It’s a shame Michelle is not native born American. I’d vote for her in a heartbeat!
The tears were a calculated event for the damsel. These people have a purpose in everything that they do. The polls were right for the Repubs, how could they have been so wrong about clintoon? Just wondering.
Think of this one, Michelle.
Thousands of those ‘vast right wing’ Republicans crossed over in New Hampshire to give Hillary a supposed victory...
Just to watch her self-destruct by the time Super Tuesday
comes around
I’m pretty sure it was a scripted plant, but I doubt it can ever be proved.
Hillary has just used up two lifelines:
1) Tears
2) “My Husband will beat you up.”
What’s left?
Distributing photos without tears by email will do wonders for lunch counter discussions across the country.
Mrs. Clinton’s crying performance was a shrewd political move, it may not have impressed many here, but it was keyed to her base and they bought it.
You can say a lot about the Clintons, but make no mistake about it, they are among the most skillful politicians of our time and their success isn’t a fluke.
Because Hillary is so cold and unlikeable, she can only succeed making herself the vitim.
-Vast right-wing conspiracy
-Rick Lazio getting “too close” to her in the Senate debate
-Now she whines about “the men” “picking on her”, and a show of tears. This was so predictable.
Are the American sheep really this stupid?
Alas, yes...
The Clintons have never lost by underestimating the gullibility of the American public.
vitim= victim
oops, dropped the letter c
pardon me
Stupid does as stupid is. Baaaaaaaaaaaaa......Baaaaaaaaaaaa.
The polls 6 weeks ago said the democrats anti-hillary vote was 60%. Yesterday, she got about 40%, correct?
If Edwards hates the Clintons he should quit and support the second coming of Lincoln.
I don’t think she can get more the 45 % of the Democrats.
If she hadn't created a bad impression, Barak Obama would be nowhere near where he is now. We agree that the bulk of voters are idiots, but that doesn't mean the Clinton's don't make mistakes. We wouldn't be having this discussion if they were that good.
In my "media training" mind, I will tell you that this was totally planned--not spontaneous. They knew she had to speak to women, they chose a venue with natl cameras that was not a debate mode (where she has to be tough) and they told her to do her "sincere" bit--"i'm tired, and i feel passionately about the country (read "family"), and then to be quoted you use a contemporaneous expression. In this case it was an offshoot of The Godfather (It's not personal; its business) when she said "This is personal to me; not political. I care about the future of our country for our children." THIS WAS TOTALLY PLANNED, INCLUDING THE TEARS!
