I think if everyone who said that they’d vote for Hunter if he were only electable voted for him because he’s a conservative, he’d be in the top tier of the GOP candidates and then seen as electable to the presidency.

Note that ‘I’ll vote “R” regardless’ is leading the pack. I call folks who vote like this UIN republicans, because they’ll vote for anything with an R in front of it, regardless what it means. Free Republic is obviously inundated with them.

I think that Hunter supporters and Fred supporters are aligned in their beliefs and love of Reagan’s America. We had better unite in cause... if not in candidates at this time... because the battle has been joined. We may not even be large in numbers if the media is to be believed... and they are not... but even if we battle against horrible odds... look what King Leonidas and 300 Spartans did to Xerxes and a million and a half persians.
