Gov. Blanco also had the audacity of redecorating her office at the tune of $500G’s about a month after Katrina hit... I mean, here we have half of the state of Louisiana inside the Gulf of Mexico and she’s busy looking at carpet samples... unreal...

That is the point I have been trying to make.
I have been of the opinion that the Presidency is based upon ‘Objective Thought and Decisions.’ Not emotional feelings.
Can we really go for the Bovine Scatology being thrown at us by the Democratic Party bosses?

"Afterwards, this young student concluded that giving anyone specific questions to ask is dishonest, and the whole incident has given her a negative outlook on politics"
But she still fully supports the "dishonest" party that set this crap up.

Whether Hillary was sincere or not with her tears or whether this lady was brought to tears by Obama, that's not the way to decide on how to cast your vote. What about their stance on the issues and what about experience? What about their history in politics and government and out of government? That is what matters. It is so stupid for people to decide on who to vote for when it comes to the most powerful position in the world by simply voting for the person that stirs their emotions. It is both stupid and dumb. No. According to some FReepers and the media, one decides based on ambition ("fire in the belly"), activity ("lazy or laid back"), and sound bites vs. policy. It's all style over substance, and the dems have that down pat.

The call to Core’s show was picked up by Drudge!!! He’s linking it straight to Core’s 630WMAL page!!! I just got a note from a producer at WMAL, who stated that their server is getting overwhelmed right now.
Thanks to you, Dear, for posting this on FR too!!!

Jeff had already told someone to email Drudge so I thought I would put it on FR. Notice that FR beat Drudge by several hours.

Yes, you posted it at 10:55 a.m. ET and Drudge followed a few hours later.
What time did the NH caller call the Core show this morning? I was out running errands and missed the first hour and a half.

FYI - If you Google the name “Marianne Pernold-Young”, there’s close to 310 articles posted in the past 2-3 hours about her.

Sometime between 9 and 10:15. I was actually taking my 4 year old into preschool and missed it but could gather what had happened. I called Jeff (the call screener/producer?) for a link and he had it on the home page. I would have had it posted earlier but I was looking at Chris’s homepage for a link and it was on the WMAL homepage. It took me 20 min to get through to ask for a link so I could listen to the interview. Jeff said, “call me back if you have any questions.” I thought, yeah, easier said than done.

I like Geoff Holtzman — he’s very smart, quick and talented... he’s also very helpful. He might’ve been a bit busy today with all the calls and inquiries about the Marianne call, because from what I understand many media outlets have been contacting WMAL about it.
You posted it at a good time — 10:55 a.m. was early enough — plus, you beat Drudge!

I usually agree with Geoff when he and Chris disagree. I seems to have a lot of commons sense. He seemed to like that I was posting it on FR. I’m sure WMAL enjoyed all the hits. I saw all those guys when I went to see Rush at the Warner theater. Jerry Klein makes me want to break my headset though—pet liberal my butt—let’s get him fixed.

They got a lot of hits and a lot of the cable news networks picked it up from Drudge too... so it’s been a domino effect... Jerry Klein may be a bigtime lib, but he’s very funny & nice... I met him in Sept. when I subbed for Chris Plante on one of his Sunday shows... I’ve never met Core though... maybe sometime this year...

No, the next thing that will happen will be: Either Bubba or Chelsie will get sick...and she will run to their side...to show her humanness. Probably Bubba so he can have a crack at a nurse. Heh! Yes, I wouldn't be surprised if she choreographed a scenario like that. The old media would support it and a lot of people would believe it. And as you said, Bubba would go along with it for his own reasons.
