That has nothing to do with birthright citizenship.
There's no reason the parents should be given any special treatment because their child is a citizen.
Read up, Johnny. You know little or nothing about this. All you have is an uninformed emotion. Parents of anchor babies MOVE TO THE FRONT OF THE IMMIGRATION WAITING LINE ahead of people who have applied legally to get get in and who have waited in some cases 10 years. Because the children are citizens, they can apply to bring in ALL OF THEIR RELATIVES. The parents of the anchor baby immediately qualify for welfare, WIC, food stamps and Medicaid, unemployment benefits and get “affordable housing.” THEY HAVE BABIES ON AMERICAN SOIL TO CIRCUMVENT OUR LAWS, and we reward them with “special treatment.” This is why so many people are upset about birthright citizenship. Check out the sad history of Thomasson General Hospital in El Paso, Texas to see how this works. In many Texas hospitals, 70 to 80 percent of the newborns belong to ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. The rate is about 50 percent in California.
Uh, getting free hospital delivery, welfare, WIC, food stamps, and free education for a kid are benefits for the parent.
Why should this country have to support a child because its mother managed to waddle over the border before birth?
