Sadly there are practically no private or charter schools here to choose from. My son is a senior this year, attending this school, FPCHS, and had this teacher for geometry last year. Many of the older kids are laughing because this teacher got arrested. Obviously he was not a favorite among the kids. Sadly, who knows how many more younger boys he may have victimized.
No one has ever asked me the name of my high school on any job application.
What would be the consequences for simply leaving that school and working until college admission, or taking the GED? Is he planning on entering the military and therefore needs a high school diploma?
By the way,,,I live in a rural area of a red state. We are a similar situation. There are no private schools and only one very, very small charter with a HUGE waiting list.
Unless the parent can homeschool, the parent has a choice: Send their child to the government indoctrination camp, or have police at the door. ( Real bullets in those guns on the hip.)
Remember: Behind every government teacher and school bureaucrat stands an armed policeman ready to force the government’s will upon the student and his parents.
I’m very sorry to hear of the personal nature of your plight. Perhaps you may be able to take solace in the fact that your son is a senior and so will not have to be subjected to this for much longer.
