Rush had a theory this morning that liberal Obama supporters, confident that Obama would win went ahead and voted for their next favorite, McCain. Whatever you make of it, that sounds bad for McCain. It means that the election results were a little screwed up based on faulty predictions that influenced and swayed some votes.

Rush is a bright guy but this is just post facto reverse of the conventional wisdom.

I think McPain won because he has national security credentials that no one else can match and that was the main issue based on poll results of the Republican voters.

The idea that they just happened to defect from Obama does not make sense. Obama Rat voters even independent ones do not poll national security as the first issue.

That’s my take and IMHO just as worth considering.
