Seriously, why the hell do independents get to vote in either party’s primary in an early primary state? Why don’t my husband & I (contributing & active republicans) get a say, but some “independent” in NH gets to help determine our candidate?
I bet most registered Independents are confirmed righties or lefties who want the option of negatively influencing the opposition’s nominee. Satisfied with the trio of far lefty Dem candidates, if I were a lib in NH I’d have voted for McCain or Huckabee.
