Revelation 22:

22Then the angel* showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2through the middle of the street of the city. On either side of the river is the tree of life* with its twelve kinds of fruit, producing its fruit each month; and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3Nothing accursed will be found there any more. But the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants* will worship him; 4they will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5And there will be no more night; they need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign for ever and ever.

I am a fellow-servant* with you and your comrades* the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God!’

10 And he said to me, ‘Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. 11Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy.’

12 ‘See, I am coming soon; my reward is with me, to repay according to everyone’s work. 13I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.’

14 Blessed are those who wash their robes,* so that they will have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city by the gates. 15Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and fornicators and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practises falsehood.

16 ‘It is I, Jesus, who sent my angel to you with this testimony for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.’
17The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come.’
And let everyone who hears say, ‘Come.’
And let everyone who is thirsty come.

Let anyone who wishes take the water of life as a gift.
18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this book; 19if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away that person’s share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
20 The one who testifies to these things says, ‘Surely I am coming soon.’

I hope you realize that Revelations was not the last book written in the Bible.

In Revelations 3:14 it says:

14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

Laodicea was destroyed by a mighty earthquake in 60 B.C. Rome offered to rebuild it, but the Laodiceans wanted to do it themselves It was hit again in 65 AD it was never rebuilt. Thus, The Book of Revelations was written when Laodicea existed, it was before 65 AD. The Gospel of John is dated later (accounts vary from 81-100+ AD) Thus if you are serious, half of the books of the new testament are now to be excluded. The book of Deuteronomy includes a similar passage, is the rest of the Bible to be discarded?

Obviously, the strict interpretation is not correct. When you realize that when the Book of Revelations was written, it was exactly that, a Book it becomes clear, do not add or detract from the Book of Revelations (But john could still write his Gospel as a sperate book) and the other authors who wrote the other gospels after 60AD could still write theirs, and Joseph could add his testimony and write scripture, and the church today can still add scripture, if there is any to add.

If anyone wants to read it in context, Revelations 22 is the link, but as soon as you read it with Johns understanding (that Revelations, the book he was writing would be a separate book) then it is perfectly clear what he meant.

I am truly sorry you feel that way, however, before you damn us to Hell (hand basket optional) I would ask you if you believe the Bible and obey it?

For if you do, I would ask you to consider the following Scripture from First John 4:1-3

1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Since this is by John who's words you just used to damn me to hell, I hope you will listen to him and obey his command to try the spirits. He even tells you how to know if an answer to your prayer is of God, or of the Devil. You needn't be afraid to follow his advice, the Bible won't steer you wrong.

Your choice for God will force no man to heaven.

I have taken this test. I have received an answer from GOD himself! I know what he wants me to do. and I know that the Book of Mormon is his word for he testified to me of it's truth at the same time as he told me Jesus was my savior and came to this earth to rescue me from my sins. I testify to you that you too can know, for the Bible tells you so.
