Ah, back to the name calling, what would a post by you be w/o that! I think Tantiboh’s answer puts the answer very succinctly. I didn’t answer your question b/c I made it clear I would not get into the sandbox w/ you. You were there, & I decided to pass. BTW, I’ve asked you in the past, where are ALL the principles of the Nicene, Athansian, & Westminster creeds found in the Bible? Talk about extra Bible evidence.

I basically answered your question in other posts. You have yet to answer mine except to frequently resort to calling me an agent of Satan, etc. as you have in the past.

As I stated earlier, there’s a lot missing from the Bible as evidenced by the the scriptures mentioned in the Bible that are nowhere to be found therein. Man decided what was to be compiled in the Bible in roughly 325 A.D., not the Lord. There are other mentions of baptism for the dead outside of the Bible.

That’s the part I perhaps least understand, the blind faith that believes in a group of men, who claimed no devine revelation in compiling the Bible, or the creeds for that matter. They fought over these matters extensively. There was no claim of the Lord’s direct input as to what books were to be included & what was not in the Bible. Yet, you have have the audacity to claim the Bible contains the whole word of God.

As amazing as that is to me, I respect your opinion, albeit not your method of presentation. I would love some day to have a reasoned discussion w/ you outside of the sandbox. Today’s comments are evidence today is not that day. The sandbox is yours, have fun!

So, only one vague Bible passage. I don’t blame you for running. Have a pleasant evening.
