What Tennessee Nana is telling you is that the Christ that you worship may be a figment of your imagination. Matthew 7:21-23 is one of the most sobering warnings in all the Bible and sadly I think that it applies to Mormons.
I do not hate Mormons. I have many friends who are Mormon. I hate the LDS church for leading people away from the true Jesus Christ. As the Bible tells us, our battle is not with "flesh and blood" (that is, individual people) but with "powers and principalities" (that is, the false churches). Sometimes, evangelicals lose sight of who our enemies actually are.

Sorry, that doesn’t hold water. I worship the same Christ you do, and the many personal spiritual experiences I have had tell me that He is very real.
Why would you think that Christ would be any less real for me than for you? The logic of that boggles my mind.

I agree with that; but the irony is that the LDS Church is about the best friend evangelicals could have. We love evangelicals. They make great converts.
