McCain's Spirits High

NASHUA, N.H. -- After a grueling day with seven rallies across the state John McCain says he got enough sleep last night and feels good.

“I did feel a lot of nostalgia last night…When the told me you’re going to do seven events yesterday…I said WHY?” McCain said as he made a funny face. “I’m so glad, after that last one I wanted to do two more! It’s a wonderful experience,” he admitted.

He remarked on his victory in the midnight vote in Dixville Notch - a New Hampshire tradition where 16 eligible voters came out and, on the Republican side, McCain won 4 votes compared to Romney’s 2.

“We have all the earmarks of a landslide with the Dixville Notch vote,” he laughed. McCain made two campaign stops this year. “That’s two votes per trip,” he explained calculating the math and holding up two fingers for his audience on the back of the bus.

It’s no secret McCain and many in his campaign are superstitious. McCain and staff members carry special coins with them, at least one staff member isn’t wearing socks today and on election days, McCain usually goes to a movie. The presidential hopeful said he’d like to catch one today but his wife, Cindy, interrupted to say there is a different ritual in New Hampshire. “I hope it entails a nap,” Sen. McCain said to his wife. “Yes, it’s a nap," Mrs. McCain said.

“It would just be foolishness to start thinking about the general election when you’ve got a guy that’s got an unlimited checkbook and Huckabee doing extremely well in areas particularly a state we’re going to. I mean really foolish,” he said, referring to Mitt Romney.

“If I lose, sure Cindy will have to hide razor blades,” McCain joked

I hope Cindy is listening for future reference.

He may well win NH, but after that, Cindy had best be vigilent.

Good, I was hoping he didn’t mean to slash Huckabee’s throat or something.

He’s just too mentally unstable to support for POTUS.

Ah, John McCain. You almost want him to become President just for the wacky and bizarre statements.

I can literally see him attacking the press corp with a machete.

Further proof that this man is not wrapped too tightly.

I know Hillary is not liked at all by conservatives and I happen to be one but, remember, one Hussein got hung in Iraq and the liberals are trying very hard to elect a Hussein in the USA as President. I will not be so blind as to help elect Hussein.
We must be mindful of what could happen and not let our dislike of one person destroy what is left of our country.

Get a grip, dude. Obama is NOT a wacked-out muzzie out to destroy us. He is just a lib who is out to destroy us. So is McPain. Only, McPain is disguising himself as a Republican to fool some idiots into believing he is conservative. Personally, I would love to see Obama whoop Hillary's a$$ in the primaries. I hate the Clintoons, but have no hatred toward Obama. Most conservatives feel that way, I think. Same could be said for McPain. I reall, really despise and abhor him. He has betrayed us way too many times, and now he is a contender for POTUS. Hello amnesty, hello higher taxes, hello greeny-weenie stop global warming at all costs BS. No thanks. May as well have Obama as POTUS. Six of one, half-a-dozen of the other. McPain would destroy the Republican party, as would any seriously liberal RINO, but having Obama in office would just further prove that liberalism simply doesn't work.
