In addition, Ron Paul & Associates sold a video about Waco produced by "patriotic Indiana lawyer Linda Thompson"--as one of the newsletters called her--who maintained that Waco was a conspiracy to kill ATF agents who had previously worked for President Clinton as bodyguards.

There used to be lots of fans of this video here on FR about ten years ago. If you were to troll through the FR archives, I'm sure a lot of the old timers would find things under their names that would embarrass them now, myself included.

I'm pretty sure I first heard the MLK adultery stuff here, though the pederasty stuff sounds like it's from an FBI file worked up to discredit the man. (It's not true, is it?)

Some of these writings are nasty, some are funny, and some are right. Some seem deliberately cut to seem the most damaging. Perhaps I'm desensitized, but they're actually not as bad as I feared they'd be.

If Tom Tancredo can get defenders for talking about nuking Mecca or waterboarding or deporting millions of Mexicans, or McCain can sing "Bomb, bomb, bomb Iran," Paul gets to be kooky too.

"...[If] McCain can sing "Bomb, bomb, bomb Iran," Paul gets to be kooky too..."

In fairness, McCain was singing a 50's hit in response to a question that begged the song. (Barbara-Ann).

Ron Paul may prove worse than a kook with this thread's revelations.
