You never have taken a welding class or worked in an auto body shop have you? Metal is basically a crystalline structure. It doesn’t take a lot of heat to weaken it and when it gets weak, a crack can form along the structure and it break in a line, especially when a lot of pressure is placed on it.

Do me a favor, go to an auto body shop, have someone hand you a piece of steel, try to bend it, then have them run a torch very quickly over a piece of metal and try to bend it, not only does it quickly become mailable, long before the melting point, but if you put enough pressure on it, you will get a crack line.

It is amazing how many of these ‘truther’ sites can be debunked by visiting something as simple as an auto body shop.
