You have a big mouth when it comes to Israel....

You are assuming that Israel as a minority position HAS to capitulate to survive, Most of us believe the minority position (especially when considering the arabs stated objective is to wipe Israel from the map) means they MUST NOT capitulate and FIGHT for everything!

Of course Israel must not capitulate but US pressure is on them and the Arab Muslims have a tremendous demographic weight. The close analogy is your little wagon train of five families is headed out west and a thousand wild Indians have surrounded you and are on the warpath. They have warpaint on and are firing arrows at you

My annoyance was with those who think Bush is somehow at fault here and blame him and/or Rice. It has no relation to reality. This administration sure didn’t invent appeasement when it comes to this problem. Olmert shouldn’t have surrendered in Lebanon. Actions have consequences.

Once again you are annoying oblivious and blustery when it comes to a nation with 5 million Jews surrounded by more than two hundred million Muslims. Israel does not have  a lot of wiggle room. Especially with US pressure which comes from Muslim pressure due to Iraq war and 95$ barrel oil

Also Europe is Israel's largest trading partner and would love an excuse for trade boycotts like South Africa endured. If  Israel acts too tough this will happen

As long as I got my G.E. Mini-gun, I'm fine with that.... :)

If the Israeli PM was coming here, would he meet with all of the minority/office seeker leaders? I dont think so.

Chruchill.....the guy that split up the Middle East across traditional tribal lines to insure instability. Or, the Churchill who came up with Gallipoli?

Or the traditional Churchill who chomped a cigar and talked a good line when he was getting his ass whooped by the Germans?

I respect Churchill for his leadership in Britain during the war—but lets not forget the whole story.
