BATF had a chance to pick up Koresh outside the home but preferred to make a raid on the home knowing it was full of children.

The processes of mind that continue to mislead police agencies into making armed raids of buildings full of children have got to be related to something they eat ~ maybe doughnuts?!

They get themselves hyped up on adrenalin and sugar, and roll over that 170mg/ml blood sugar level and their brains go blank.

You are correct about Koresh and most probably the guy responsible for the dope in this instance could have been picked up outside the home.
My point is that as a mom this woman should not have allowed drugs in to the home.
The cops arrived and we don’t know the rest of the facts yet.
Had this woman done her job which is to protect the kids and provide for them this wouldn’t have happened.

I agree that the swat teams are amped up and have little common sense when they arrive on a scene.
The cops should have observed then picked up the perp instead of rushing the home.
We do not know the particulars surrounding the shooting. We do know the lady allowed drugs in to her home with the kids there. We do not know what she did or what casued the cops to react.
Did she deserve to die? No.
