Rasmussen Reports ^ | Sunday, January 06, 2008 | Rasmussen Reports

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in New Hampshire shows Barack Obama earning 39% of the vote while Hillary Clinton attracts 27%. The survey was conducted on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. All interviews were conducted after the Iowa caucuses and before last night’s debate.

Obama is seen as the most electable Democratic candidate. Eighty-seven percent (87%) believe he would be at least somewhat likely to win if nominated. Seventy-six percent (76%) say the same about Clinton and 75% think Edwards would have a chance. Fifty-one percent (51%) of the Likely Democratic Primary Voters believe Obama would be Very Likely to win. Just 38% have such confidence in Clinton.

Rasmussen Markets data suggests that Barack Obama is currently favored to win in New Hampshire. Current prices imply that Obama has a 79.3 % chance of winning while Clinton has a 22.5 % chance. Numbers in this paragraph reflect results from a prediction market, not a poll. RasmussenMarkets.com is a “futures market” that harnesses competitive passions to becomes a reliable leading indicator of upcoming events. Using a trading format where traders "buy and sell" candidates, issues, and news features, the markets correctly projected both Obama and Huckabee as the winners in Iowa.

Exactly, both Rasmussen and ARG have Obama up 12 points, and yet CNN = dead heat.

Not anymore. The new CNN poll released today now has Obama +10 (Obama 39%, Hillary 29%)

Most of the polls now seem to be converging on a roughly 10 point lead for Obama:

CNN/WMUR has Obama +10
USA Today Gallup has Obama +13
American Research Group has Obama +12
Rasmussen has Obama +12

All those polls were conducted in the last 2-3 days.

“Those FBI files are getting stale.”

Yeah, any day now, after the NH Primary is over we hear that a certain person of interest was seen flinging files through an open window at the National Arvhives...wonder if the finger prints were cleaned off?...or are those fingerprints also protected for 40 years now since they are part of the secret documents....

Agreed, but the fact that the Clintons still had enough people in place to derail any serious inquiry by the DOJ into any Clinton actions while in office tells me otherwise.
